Due to technical difficulties the group representing the USS IOWA (BB-61) for our 4 Sisters Reunion was unable to get on the air for more than a short period. The call sign they used was K6RJI (not K6JOB as posted).

Therefore we have decided that anyone who contacted the other 3 sister ships ( NEW JERSEY - MISSOURI - WISCONSIN) will be eligible for a certificate by sending in the details of their contacts. Because the certificate will not be the special canvas one we had planned on, the cost of receiving it will only be $2.00.

If anyone managed to make contact with all 4 sisters, we will of course issue them a special canvas certificate for $5.00.

Again, we apologize for the disappointment and hope you will understand. Below are the details for getting your "3 Sisters Certificate":

Regular QSLs for each ship should be sent directly to the ship contacted. Be sure to include an SASE

CERTIFICATE:

Contacts will be compared to the logs submitted by each ship. If the entries are verified, a "3 Sisters" Certificate will be issued to the operator. You only need to contact each ship at least once on any frequency or mode.

• To get your "3 Sisters" Certificate send $2.00 donation to cover cost of printing and handling and a copy of your log entries for each of the ships. You do not need to send a large envelope as that will be covered in the cost of the certificate. If a check is sent, please make it out to: Margaret Burgess.
