Discone Cage (Discage) is a 32-foot, 
broadband, vertically  polarized, 
omidirectional, transmitting antenna. 
It provides  HF frequency coverage in 
the 4-12 MHz and 10-30 MHz 
frequency bands.

The Discage radiating structure consists
of two truncated wire rope cones connected 
base to base and supported by a grounded
central mast.

A disk assembly with matching network, 
attached to the top of the mast, is used 
as a broadband discone radiator in the 
10-30 MHz freq. range.   The lower 
portion of the DISCAGE  structure operates 
in the 4-12 MHz freq. range as a cage monopole.
